The Mission: Active Future Education Pack

The Education Pack has been created to support a visit through ‘wrap-around’ experiences which focus on:

Preparing a group for their visit to the Exhibition with activities which enhance thinking and questioning skills.
Guiding a group through the Exhibition including descriptions of the exhibits.
Post-visit support resources, challenges and helpful information which can be used to prepare for extension activities in class and for homework projects.

The Mission: Active Future Logbook and Poster

As part of a visit to the Exhibition, each child will be given:

The Mission: Active Future Logbook

As Active Future Health Champions, the logbook is a great way of motivating children to start and sustain different activities, with a mission to have fun by doing more active play over a 24 week period and beyond.
The logbook will enable them to chart how much activity they take up over the following months after their visit and contains lots of ideas to help them at the front and a section to record their activities at the back. Once they have completed each section of the log book, it can be signed by the class teacher and sent back to Eureka!. Children will be then be awarded a Bronze, Silver and Gold certificate.

The Mission: Active Future Activity Poster

As learning champions, like the Activ8 characters, children will be encouraged to take the activity poster home and chart how much activity their family engages with and takes up.
